WELCOME TO THE SCARBOROUGH FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Scarborough Fire Department provides fire protection, advanced life support emergency medical services, and search and rescue services to the residents and visitors of Scarborough and the ocean waters along our coastline. Deep in tradition, our department started as a volunteer organization in 1914, and has grown to a combination full-time, call, and per-diem department. In fiscal year 2009 we responded to 3,703 calls for service.
