Section 200: TOWN COUNCIL POLICIES & PROCEDURES 201.0: PROCEDURES FOR ADDRESSING THE COUNCIL. Any person wishing to address the Town Council will be given an opportunity to do so in accordance with the following procedures: 201.1: Procedure. Persons wishing to address the Town Council on an agenda item shall signify their desire to speak by raising their hands when the Town Clerk announces consideration of such item. After being recognized to speak by the Chair, such persons will preface their comments by giving their name and address. No person shall be permitted to address the Town Council on such item once the Town Council has begun deliberations. (amended 04/18/01). 201.2: Time Limit. Persons addressing the Town Council on an agenda item shall be permitted to speak only once per item and shall limit their remarks to three minutes.
202.3: Decorum. Persons present at Council meetings are requested not to applaud or otherwise express approval or disapproval of any statements made or action taken at such meeting.
